An Art Curriculum Guidebook - Daily Art Journal

Hi friends,

The Daily Art Journal is a project that I designed to be used for bell work/short assignments (15-30min). I have 18 units (1 unit per month with 8 alternative units to switch out or expand upon) that I utilized in my high school intro and advanced digital and visual art classes. They include artist inspirations and creative prompts centered around a creative theme. There's flexibility to integrate both traditional and digital tools.

I found my students' art journals to be one of their most meaningful works because it allowed them to express their ideas and feelings freely. This project emphasizes experimentation over theory and technique (though it naturally integrates both).

I was a high school digital art teacher for 12 years and currently teach college level courses. I'm working on making my favorite projects available to other multimedia/art teachers. Here's Unit 1 (enter $0 to download it for free).
